Hull Wedding Photographers love to brighten your day! I’m all into brightness, so today I bring you an exclusive preview from Paul and Kirstie wedding held at The Hallmark Hotel over the weekend. The whole day was held at the Hotel which certainly makes my job a little easier and gives a lot more time to make images as brides and grooms get ready for the main event. Kirstie and Paul are what I would call ‘late bloomers’ in the wedding world. They only booked me just before Xmas and it seemed like their plans came together like a silk glove slipping over a lady’s hand!
We’d had a fab time in our planning and wedding pre-shoot and got to know each other very quickly – lots of laughs were had – especially from Kirstie who has a very original giggle! I really enjoyed spending the day with this fantastic couple, it was a little bizarre when I walked into the room where the civil ceremony was held as I must have known at least 50% of the guests but had no idea! Speeches were cracking – the best man gave a super original delivery – always good to see. The bridesmaids were an awesome help too! A lot of bridesmaids don’t seem to read the job description these days but Amanda & India were fully on point and tended to Kirstie’s every need. I stayed on until 9pm and got some great lit photos outside (I braved the sleet but had the bride and groom tucked under an awning of course!) and joined the Kirstie and Paul on the dancefloor to bust some moves. I’m really looking forward to sharing their collection when we next get together – a very easy going, accommodating welcoming couple who I’m sure I’ll be staying in touch with long after the album has been delivered. if you’d like to see more work by Hull Wedding Photographers head over to my portfolio and drop me a line to find out more!
