I had the pleasure of spending Friday with Bob and Phillippa as they celebrated their wedding day at Tickton Grange. As a Hull Wedding Photographer, it was a fabulous day and I really enjoyed being there to capture all of the emotions as they played out. Pip and Bob have 2 young sons who are just absolutely adorable and getting lots of great images of them was very high on their wish list. I spent the morning with the groom and his groomsmen helping them get ready and although it was an overcast day, the light was just fab for me. I joined Phillippa at The Grange to photograph her preparations and I was totally amazed how chilled the girls were when I arrived – this was a theme that lasted for the rest of the day – I guess when you have 2 young sons, getting ready for your own wedding doesn’t present much of a stress!
The ceremony was an intimate affair and afterwards we went straight into group shots in the library bar – it was just too chilly for the bride and the children to do these outside. The rest of the day was filled with lovely family moments and I left the happy couple on the dancefloor just after 9pm. I hope you get a good sense of their special day from this small selection of images and i’m really looking forward to sharing the full collection in a couple of weeks time.
