Barnaby and Amanda’s Rudding Park wedding was an unforgettable celebration. The venue’s grandeur, unrivalled luxury, and exceptional services made for a breathtaking backdrop to one of the most memorable days of their life. As the wedding photographer, it was pure joy to have witnessed their union. Plus, Barnaby and Amanda took it up a notch by having two ceremonies. The first was a small civil ceremony with the immediate family where they legally tied the knot followed by a beautiful marriage ceremony in the private chapel within Rudding Park. And the couple’s children, Ethan and Esme, stole hearts almost as much as Barnaby and Amanda’s love story!
Barnaby And Amanda’s Rudding Park Wedding
I started the day taking photographs of the bride and groom getting ready with their respective wedding parties, including Barnaby’s best man Rob and Amanda’s maid of honour, Julie. The energy in the rooms was so infectious and I loved how the couple absolutely glowed with confidence and enthusiasm for their big day. It was an honour to be able to document their joy.
Barnaby and Amanda’s wedding day was extra special because they chose to have two separate ceremonies held on the same day. The first was a small civil ceremony where the legal part of the union was transacted in an intimate and lovely setting. The second was the beautiful marriage ceremony in Rudding Park’s private chapel with family and friends in attendance. During these precious moments, I enjoyed capturing the love between them and the joyful presence of their children Ethan and Esme.
One of my favourite memories from that day was when Esme made her big entrance just before the ceremony and Ethan walked her down the aisle – they sure made an impact! It was a day filled with so much love, fun memories, and ‘aww’ inspiring moments that made it a memorable one.
After the ceremony, I took the newlywed’s portraits all around the grounds and lake at Rudding Park. Their chemistry and love for each other radiated off them, making them look so captivating. We scouted some of the best spots for these photos! Barbaby and Amanda looked absolutely marvellous throughout the different stunning backdrops, but their favourite(and mine) was the lakeside. The venue has an enchanting lake set within its grounds with a private island in the middle. We were driven down to the lake and the bride and groom were invited onto a row boat to enjoy some alone time. Our drone recorded these moments perfectly without spoiling the intimacy of the moment and the photos we captured are definitely some of the couple’s favourites from the day!
Photographing Barnaby and Amanda’s reception and capturing their special moments as friends and family gathered around them in celebration was truly a delight. I relished watching the newlyweds have their first dance, gazing into each other’s eyes without saying a word. This touching moment spoke volumes about their love for each other. Throughout the night, there were fun moments with smiles and laughter as friends and family toasted the couple’s union. Even amidst speeches, you could feel how deep Barnaby and Amanda’s connection was. All in all, it was an incredibly memorable day at the stunning Rudding Park.
